• Level 3 Fascial Stretch Therapist • NASM Certified Personal Trainer •
Though Nashville natives have become increasingly rare, Michael was born and raised in Music City and has been involved in the athletic community for over thirty years. He played basketball for Cumberland University two years before transferring to the University of Tennessee, where he was a practice player for Pat Summit’s Lady Vols from 2003-05. While there, he began working at Performance Training Inc. doing personal training and teaching SAQ (speed, agility, quickness) to local middle school high school and collegiate athletes, as well as teaching basketball skills to WNBA players and local high school and college players.
2007 saw Michael return home to Nashville, moving his personal training practice to the Green Hills YMCA, where he still sees clients as a NASM certified personal trainer. His interest in Fascial Stretching Therapy came in 2012, and by 2013, he'd completed Level III, advancing his training and understanding of the science of stretching and working with the human body.
In his downtime, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. If he's not running around town with them, he enjoys playing games of chess, reading/studying anatomy and training ideas, or watching good basketball.
